Year 2005 Homecoming for Batch 65
As the primary purpose of this meeting is to tackle loose ends which were not discussed last, Vic walked through
the reunion checklist.
The committee discussed attendees for the occasion. It was suggested
to have the affair exclusively for alumni. Vic,
Rose, Cornelia, Nellie & Liway argued that alumni should be allowed to invite guests for the occasion. After lengthy deliberation, it was agreed on 1st and 2nd days, only alumni should
attend.
On the Grand Night the committee voted
8 – 3, in favor of
inviting families and guests of
the alumni.
Venue
The committee decided to firmed up the venue for the affair:
1st day - Ninoy Aquino Learning Center (Library)
– Amado Hernandez Hall
PUP Campus
2nd day - Wonder Island Resort
3rd day – Sampaguita Hall, Hyatt Regency Hotel at Roxas
Boulevard
Budget
For the 3-day affair pledge was increased
from P2,500 to P3,000 to cushion the impact of rising prices of commodities and
gasoline. For alumni attending a
day or two, pledge was pegged at P1,000 per
day.
The committee changed venue from
Conference Hall to the Registrar’s Office and assigned Chit del Rosario to take the floor in discussing the checklist.
Theme Song
The following songs were suggested.
That’s What Friends are for-
choosen by those based abroad
Ice Castle
Looking Through the Years
If
We Hold on Together
When You Wish upon a Star
What
a Wonderful World
Homeward Bound
